adelina
Established on a family vineyard in 1986, Adelina produced its first vintage in 2000. Nestled in South Australia’s Clare Valley, it grows shiraz, grenache, mataro, and pedro ximenez using biodynamic principles. Its flagship Shiraz comes from century-old vines and is aged in oak, while the winery combines rustic winemaking with select regional fruit to create wines reflecting both old-world tradition and South Australian character.
Alex Craighead Wines
Alex Craighead Wines, founded by Alex Craighead and Josefina Venturino, focuses on low-intervention, zero-sulphur natural wines. Starting in Martinborough in 2014 and moving to Nelson in 2016, the winery works with organic vineyards to create wines that combine traditional techniques with innovative, minimal-intervention practices.
Alpha box & dice
Based in McLaren Vale, South Australia, Alpha Box & Dice has been crafting innovative wines since 2008. Their “Alphabet of Wine” is a collection of individual winemaking projects celebrating the diverse varieties and styles of South Australia, including McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, and Barossa Valley. Head winemaker Sam Berketa, who joined in 2016, emphasizes experimental yet drinkable wines, combining local and international winemaking knowledge to showcase the best expression of each vineyard’s fruit.

Founded on the farm L’Ormarins in the Franschhoek Valley, Rupert Wines today encapsulates six distinctive wine brands, made from some of the finest sites in the Western Cape, South Africa.
brave new wine
Brave New Wine is the project of husband-and-wife team Yoko and Andries Mostert, producing small-batch wines from premium grapes in Western Australia’s Great Southern region. Using a minimal-intervention approach, their wines are naturally fermented, unfined, unfiltered, and mostly sulphur-free, resulting in honest, characterful, and highly drinkable wines.
Cherubino Wines
Cherubino Wines, rooted in the historic Frankland River region of Western Australia, blends heritage, family tradition, and modern winemaking expertise. Co-founder Edwina Cherubino is a fourth-generation West Australian whose ancestors planted the region’s first vines in 1875, while her husband Larry brings decades of international winemaking experience from roles in Australia, New Zealand, USA, France, Italy, and South Africa. Since acquiring their initial vineyard parcel in 2004, they have expanded across Frankland River, Pemberton, and Margaret River, crafting wines that express the unique terroir of each site. Committed to innovation, sustainability, and legacy, Cherubino Wines combines meticulous vineyard management with a respect for tradition, producing wines that celebrate the past, capture the present, and shape the future of Western Australian winemaking.
dandelion vineyards
Founded by Elena Brooks, who began making wine in Bulgaria as a teenager, Dandelion Vineyards is now based in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Elena draws on global winemaking experience to craft award-winning wines across vineyards spanning Adelaide Hills, Eden Valley, Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, and Fleurieu Peninsula. Known for her skill and innovation, she was named Bushing Queen at the 2021 McLaren Vale Wine Show, and the winery’s dandelion-inspired labels reflect the whimsical, widespread nature of their vineyards.
DAOSA
DAOSA, based in the Piccadilly Valley, specializes in meticulously crafted sparkling wines, including the Blanc de Blancs and Natural Réserve. Grapes are whole-bunch pressed, lightly fermented, and undergo full malolactic fermentation before extended lees aging—3 years for Blanc de Blancs and 18 months for Natural Réserve. The winery maintains complete control over tirage, dosage, and bottling, producing elegant, low-intervention wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and select Rhône and Bordeaux varieties, with the 2021 vintage showing particularly ideal conditions.
Edouard Duval
Edouard Duval Champagne in Bligny, France, traces its roots to the monks of the Cluny Abbey and the historic Prieuré de Sainte Eulalie. Acquired by Charles Roger Duval in the 1950s, the 28-hectare Monopole de Sainte Eulalie is now led by his grandson, Edouard Duval, who since 2015 has crafted internationally acclaimed Champagnes in his own distinctive style.
framingham
Founded in 1981 in New Zealand’s Wairau Valley, Framingham is renowned as a leading Riesling producer and a pioneer of organic viticulture. Winemaker Andrew Hedley and viticulturist Jim Bowskill craft wines that combine natural fermentation, rare varieties, and innovative techniques, with lessons from experimental releases incorporated into the flagship Framingham Range. Named New Zealand Winery of the Year in 2018, Framingham continues to push boundaries while staying true to its organic roots.
ghost rock tasmania
Founded in 1999 by Kate and Colin Arnold, Ghost Rock helped establish Tasmania’s Cradle Coast wine region from scratch, hand-building and hand-planting every vineyard, tree, and structure. The 27-hectare estate now focuses on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris, with additional plantings of Riesling, Meunier, and Sauvignon Blanc. Under second-generation winemaker Justin Arnold and Alicia Purdon, Ghost Rock produces wines of depth and sophistication, while staying true to its humble, artisan beginnings.
gilbert family wines
Founded by fifth-generation winemaker Simon Gilbert, whose great-great-grandfather planted Australia’s first Riesling vines in 1847, Gilbert Family Wines emphasizes pure, elegant, and vibrant wines true to their varietals. Simon honed his skills at Lindeman’s and other South Australian wineries before establishing the boutique label Gilbert by Simon Gilbert in 2010, earning a James Halliday Five Star rating in 2015. In 2016, Simon partnered with his son Will and nephew Mark to create Gilbert + Gilbert, a collection of handcrafted cool-climate wines reflecting the family’s heritage and expertise in South Australia’s Eden Valley and other regions.
heirloom vineyards
Founded in 2000, Heirloom Vineyards was born from a passion for preserving old-world traditions and unique, historic vineyards. Embracing organic principles and carefully selecting the best clones for each site, the winery spent seven vintages refining its wines to create a legacy worthy of passing on to future generations.
hentely farms
Located in the Barossa Valley’s Greenock Creek hills, Hentley Farm produces distinctive wines from its boutique single vineyards, including vines over 150 years old. The 40-hectare estate focuses on minimalist methods, crafting wines that reflect the character of the vineyard with elegance, richness, and complexity. With a family winemaking tradition spanning six generations, Hentley Farm continues to celebrate the heritage and quality of the Barossa Valley.

Italian Plastic produces fun, racy, and fresh wines from McLaren Vale, crafted by Sam Berketa. These very good, lo-fi wines celebrate a sense of place while remaining drinkable, approachable, and adventurous, reflecting a borderless, multi-regional spirit.

Founded in 2001 by Marlborough-born Jules Taylor, Jules Taylor Wines crafts honest, fruit-packed wines meant to be enjoyed with friends, food, and celebration. Drawing on experiences in Italy and New Zealand, Jules handcrafts a small collection of top-quality, approachable wines that reflect Marlborough’s sunshine and her passion for creating memorable, joyful experiences.
juniper
Located in Wilyabrup, Margaret River, Juniper Estate produces premium wines with elegance, depth, and sophistication, reflecting the unique character of each vineyard block. Founded in 1998 by Roger Hill and Gillian Anderson, and now run by their sons Nick and Tom, Juniper combines sustainable, organic viticulture with careful, minimal winemaking to craft award-winning wines, particularly noted for their Cabernet Sauvignon.

Founded in 1974 in Clare Valley, South Australia, Knappstein Wines produces premium, medium-bodied, fruit-driven wines that express the unique soils and climates of their vineyards. With a focus on distinguished vineyard management, attention to detail, and long-term commitment to quality, their wines are approachable in youth yet sophisticated with age, continuing a rich Clare Valley winemaking heritage.
L’Ormarins
Founded in the late 17th century by French Huguenot Jean Roi, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek, South Africa, has a history rooted in family vineyards, wine production, and pioneering spirit. The estate, now part of the Rupert family legacy, features restored historic cellars and a modern gravity-fed cellar built in 2004. Under internationally acclaimed oenologist Michel Rolland, L’Ormarins produces wines such as the Ou Bosstok Chenin, made from 56-year-old bush vines replanted on the estate’s granite slopes.

Luminosa wines from Margaret River are handcrafted in small batches to showcase elegance, complexity, and a true sense of place. Only the finest barrels are selected, and in some years production is limited by strict quality standards. The 2018 Luminosa Cabernet Sauvignon, named Wine of the Year, exemplifies the range with its layered dark fruits, violet florals, subtle spice, silky tannins, and exceptional length, reflecting the skill of the vineyard and winemaking teams.
mac forbes
Mac Forbes, a Yarra Valley native, is a winemaker dedicated to expressing the authenticity and terroir of his home region. After early experiences in France and further study in Enology, Mac worked internationally before returning to Australia to explore the potential of the Yarra Valley’s Wooli Yallock, Wesburn, and Hoddles Creek vineyards. Through his eponymous wines and experimental EB (Experimental Batches) releases, he emphasizes minimal intervention and vineyard-driven practices, crafting honest wines that reflect the character, climate, and unique nuances of each site, helping elevate Australian terroir to global recognition.
montalto
Montalto, owned by the Mitchell family since 1997, is a celebration of seasonal, heirloom produce and premium wines. Situated on a 30-acre estate, the vineyards form the heart of Montalto’s winemaking, while expansive kitchen gardens and orchards supply The Restaurant and The Piazza. Led by award-winning winemaker Simon Black, the team crafts wines that showcase the unique qualities of fruit from Montalto’s five vineyards, reflecting each site’s character. Complemented by expertly designed gardens, the estate is a place to enjoy fine wines, fresh produce, and the beauty of the estate in every season.

Quealy Wines, founded by Catherine Quealy and Kevin McCarthy on the Mornington Peninsula, has championed Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio in Australia, producing fresh, vibrant wines alongside richer, textured styles. Their sustainably farmed vineyards, including Musk Creek and Balnarring, are carefully nurtured to create aromatic, high-acid wines, while restoring native flora and fauna, making each wine a true reflection of its place and the team’s craftsmanship.

Rosabrook Wines, owned by the Calneggia family for over 30 years, crafts elegant, fruit-driven wines from their premium Margaret River vineyards. Led by Severine Logan, their portfolio includes classic varieties like Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Merlot, with Shiraz and Tempranillo also gaining recognition. The 25+-year-old vines at Rosabrook Estate produce balanced, intensely flavored fruit at the heart of their award-winning wines.

“Not trying to save the world, just a couple of souls… one glass at a time.” Save Our Soul (SOS) wine was born from the friendship of Jason Searle and William Downey. After years of training in Victoria, Burgundy, and Piedmont, they reunited in Melbourne to pursue their dream. Starting with just a few tanks in a friend’s winery, SOS reflects their passion, experience, and enduring friendship.

Stella Bella Wines, founded in 1996 with Suckfizzle, merged with Isca Vineyards in 1999 and quickly gained recognition with Pink Moscato and Chardonnay releases. Expanding through new ranges like Skuttlebutt and Serie Luminosa, and guided by Senior Winemaker Luke Joliffe since 2013, the winery is now celebrated for its award-winning, terroir-driven wines from Margaret River.

Tapanappa, led by Brian Croser and family, crafts world-class wines from South Australia’s key vineyards: Tiers (Chardonnay), Foggy Hill (Pinot Noir), and Whalebone (Cabernet). With carefully managed vines and a focus on terroir, Tapanappa produces wines that reflect each site’s character. The 2021 vintage was exceptional, delivering balanced, high-quality wines despite global challenges.

Based in Marlborough, New Zealand, The Better Half is a playful nod to the friendly rivalry between husband-and-wife winemakers George and Jules. Their wines celebrate dreamers, pioneers, and couples who dare to dream big. The label features two birds—George as the bold eagle, Jules as the gentle dove—symbolizing their complementary partnership and shared passion for world-class wine.

Vanguardist began with a shared passion for wine and a “fire in the belly” that sent Michael chasing international harvests. Officially launched in South Australia in 2014, the brand focuses on single-vineyard wines crafted from the best varieties and soils. Over time, experimental ranges like La Petite Vanguard evolved into the refined Botanic collection, emphasizing precision and site expression. Today, Michael and Claire make the wines by hand in the Barossa Valley, while friends Ali and Edouard distribute them across Europe.

Giles Cooke MW, founder and winemaker, brings global experience and a passion for Grenache, combining creativity and a focus on making wines meant to be enjoyed. Fergal Tynan MW, co-founder, is a seasoned traveler and devoted Australian wine enthusiast, blending financial prudence with a love for crafting distinctive and expressive wines.
wilimee
Wilimee is a family-run vineyard in the Macedon Ranges, producing exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at 600m altitude on rare Cambrian soils. Founded by Ben Ranken and Sally Richardson, the vineyard combines minimalist, natural winemaking—with wild yeasts, no fining or filtration, and even underwater maturation of Pinot Noir—with a deep respect for the land, including its Wurundjeri heritage. Planted in 1982, Wilimee’s vines reflect decades of care and a philosophy of simply making great wine, which the family is proud to share.
Worlds apart wines
Worlds Apart Wines, founded in 2017 by Louis Schofield, crafts artisan wines from the best vineyards in South Australia, including Eden Valley, McLaren Vale, and the Adelaide Hills. Drawing on over a decade of fine wine experience and training under winemaker Taras Ochota, Louis and Hannah focus on sustainably sourced grapes to create thoughtfully made, delicious, and eminently drinkable wines inspired by great Australian and European producers.
xanadu
Xanadu, led by Glenn Goodall, is famed for its award-winning Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignons and Chardonnays, including multiple National Wine Show Best Cabernet trophies and the 2018 Jimmy Watson Trophy. Known for quality and consistency, Xanadu also explores diverse grapes like Graciano and Malbec.
yarrabank
Yarrabank, Yering Station’s sparkling label, was launched in 1996 through a collaboration with Champagne Devaux. Made in the traditional méthode traditionnelle, it blends Champagne heritage with modern Yarra Valley winemaking. Consistently acclaimed, Yarrabank is now recognized as one of Australia’s finest sparkling wines under the guidance of winemakers Brendan Hawker, James Oliver, and Darren Rathbone.
