We have renewed our focus on bring in natural wines that are affordable, clean and delightful.

About the Founder

Andrew Heffernan | Founder & Director

Andrew grew up in Australia’s Mulgrave and the Yarra Valley, spending summers on the Mornington Peninsula. While I’ve always had a city mindset, my roots run deep in regional culture—my family has a long history in butchery、logging and travel. That passion for Travel, food and drink eventually brought me to Tokyo, where I founded Colonial Trade Co.LTD in 2013.

At Rippa Wines, we specialist in:

  • Organic & Biodynamic Wines

  • Low Intervention and Natural Wines.

  • Inventory Management with our proprietary software , e-Sommelier™

  • Low overheads which keep our products competitively priced and accessible to as many people as possible.

We work with wineries looking to grow their presence in Japan gradually building meaningful relationships within a discerning, curious market.

アンドリュー・ヘファーナン｜創業者 兼 代表取締役

アンドリュー・ヘファーナンは、オーストラリアのマルグレイヴおよびヤラ・ヴァレーで育ち、夏の間はモーニントン半島で過ごしてまいりました。都会的な感性を持ち合わせている一方で、そのルーツは地方の文化に深く根差しております。私の家系は、精肉業、林業、そして旅を通じて長い歴史を築いてまいりました。旅、食、そして飲み物への情熱が、やがて私を東京へと導き、2013年にコロニアル・トレード株式会社の設立に至りました。
