A Heritage of Craft and Care
The Calneggia family has been involved in wine and vineyard ownership in the Margaret River region for over thirty years. With several premium vineyards under their care, they produce wines under the Rosabrook, Bunkers, Calneggia, Bramble Lane, and Brian Fletcher Signature labels. In recent years, they have expanded their portfolio to include Italian wines in collaboration with Italian producer partners. The family’s philosophy is simple: create elegant, fruit-driven wines that faithfully reflect their vineyards, with uncompromised attention to quality.
History
The spiritual home of Rosabrook Wines is the Rosabrook Estate vineyard, located 14 kilometres from the Margaret River township. The vineyard sits on Forest Grove soils—sandy topsoil with high gravel content over clay subsoil—providing excellent drainage and balanced moisture retention. The vines, some over 25 years old, produce intensely flavoured fruit, forming the backbone of Rosabrook’s premium wines.
Since its establishment in 1984, Rosabrook has been a pioneer in expressing Margaret River’s terroir. Under the guidance of award-winning winemaker Brian Fletcher, the winery continues to craft wines that combine the region’s heritage with modern elegance.
