About This Wine

From the Leask family’s Sand Road Vineyard, an exceptional site for Nero d’Avola, farmed with a focus on regenerative agriculture and biodiversity. A small parcel of fruit is handpicked and foot-trodden daily to build Italian-style tannins, before being pressed to neutral barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby red.

Nose: Savoury umami notes with nori, rose petals, and blood orange. Hints of alpine herbs add aromatic lift.

Palate: Bold yet refined, with thick, Italianate tannins wrapped around vibrant fruit and herbal nuances. Structured yet softened by a supple texture, leading to a clean, fresh finish.
