From the Petrucci Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, this Syrah is crafted for vibrancy, freshness, and immediate enjoyment while retaining savoury complexity. Approximately 60% whole bunch fermentation across small open fermenters, followed by just three months in neutral French oak barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Medium ruby with purple tints.

Nose: Perfumed with crushed morello cherry, raspberry compote, blackberry jubes, black olive, and fresh salt bush herbaceousness.

Palate: Light yet juicy, with game meat and sweet earthy undertones. Fine, puckering tannins give texture and energy, balanced by a fresh, dry finish. Quietly complex while maintaining an easy-drinking, youthful style.
