About This Wine

The “Iberion” marks Vanguardist’s first dry white wine since 2019, sourced from the organically and biodynamically farmed Basham Vineyard in South Australia’s Riverland. Conceived as part of the La Petite Vanguard range, it’s an energetic, bistro-style wine with complexity from the use of solids, skin contact, oak, and varied vessels.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Pale straw yellow.

• Nose: Fresh and aromatic, with hints of citrus zest, orchard blossom, and mineral notes.

• Palate: Tangy and refreshing with vibrant acidity, delicate fruit, and a textured mid-palate. Mineral-driven and bone-dry, perfect as an aperitif.

• Winemaking: Separate fermentations for each variety, partial skin contact, spontaneous fermentation, and short élevage in old French barriques.
