About This Wine

Sourced from the sandy soils of Blewitt Springs, just a few hundred meters apart, the Rende and Yangarra vineyards share similar microclimates that provided ideal conditions in 2022. This bistro-style wine is the experimental sibling of Vanguardist, designed for vibrancy, freshness, and drinkability while maintaining complexity.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Bright ruby red.

• Nose: Aromas of red berries, floral spice, and subtle earthy tones.

• Palate: Light to medium-bodied with juicy fruit, silky tannins, and a balanced, savoury finish. Layers of spice and herbal nuances give depth to the vibrant fruit core.

• TA: 5.9 g/L

• SO₂: Free 24 ppm / Total 50 ppm

• Winemaking: Fermented separately with ~40% whole bunches, aged six months in new 22HL French oak vats. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
