About This Wine

Following the success of the Gorgeous Grenache, Thistledown applied the same creative approach to Shiraz, co-fermenting old-vine fruit with small amounts of the white varieties Zibibbo and Fiano. The result is a Shiraz unlike any other—playful, aromatic, and texturally silky. Expect a lively mix of stone fruits, wild berries, and gentle spice, with a vibrant personality that lives up to its “Gorgeous” name.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Bright ruby with a vibrant purple rim.

• Nose: Ultra-fragrant, showing ripe peach, nectarine, wild raspberry, violets, liquorice, and hints of star anise, pink peppercorn, and deli meats.

• Palate: Silky, flowing texture with plump purple fruits, sugared strawberries, and subtle dark spices. Tannins are fine and caressing, leading to a smooth, medium-length finish.
