Tasting Notes
Medium tawny in color with warm amber hues. The nose is aromatic and lifted, revealing notes of fresh and toasted almonds, almond nougat, and dried citrus. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with persistent flavors of almonds and dried orange layered with a rich crème caramel character. Subtle notes of almond biscotti and tiramisu add further depth, leading to a smooth, lingering finish.

Winemaking & Heritage
The Para Tawny Collection represents the heart of Seppeltsfield’s fortified wine heritage, named after the Para River that flows through the Barossa Valley. This 21 Year Old Tawny is a single vintage wine crafted from select parcels of the 2004 harvest.
The wine is fortified with aromatic brandy spirit and matured for over two decades in seasoned oak hogsheads. Extended barrel aging allows the wine to develop its signature complexity, spice, and nutty richness while maintaining the elegant house style of Seppeltsfield.
