About This Wine

Fruit is sourced from the Adina Vineyard in Tuerong, planted on a gentle north-facing slope of red-brown clay loam. Grapes are hand-picked in early March, whole bunches placed intact into stainless steel picking bins, and a small addition of fermenting Yarra Valley Chardonnay is added to kick-start fermentation and provide CO₂ cover. After 21 days of skin contact, the fruit is pressed to barrel to complete fermentation. The wine undergoes natural malolactic fermentation with no further additions, and is bottled with minimal sulphur.

Tasting Notes

An orange-hued Chardonnay with depth and texture from extended skin contact. Aromas of stone fruit, citrus, and subtle spice combine with a savoury edge. The palate is layered, with fine tannins and a long, complex finish.

Serving Suggestions

Pair with Holy Goat La Luna cheese, or grilled eggplant with tahini and chilli. Serve at 12–14°C.
