The Villages tier offers an extra dimension of expression beyond the Yarra Valley tier, reflecting a deeper understanding of the region’s subzones. Woori Yallock sits behind the Warramite Hills, where a mix of red volcanic and grey loam soils adds depth and long-term complexity. The area is protected from drying winds and receives slightly more rainfall, contributing to richer aromas, greater weight, and a solid structure in the wines.

Tasting Notes

Bright and finely framed with aromas of red cherry, pomegranate, juniper berry, and subtle herbal notes. The palate is medium-bodied and structured, supported by fine, almost chewy tannins that carry a long and satisfying finish.
