About This Wine

The RS8 Riesling is the first pick from the Caveat vineyard, delivering a wine of restraint, heightened tension, and an austere fruit profile. With 8 g/L residual sugar, the palate is softened without losing its taut structure. Built for long-term cellaring, it will reward patience over the next two to three decades.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of summer grass clippings, green tea, cheesecloth, and green apple skins. On the palate, crisp, scintillating acidity cuts through the fruit core, creating contrast and tension. Mouthwatering yet not sweet, offering a distinctive style compared to Rieslings from Clare or the Great Southern.
