About This Wine

Part of the Village Series, which highlights the sub-regional diversity of the Yarra Valley, the Gladysdale Chardonnay hails from the southern end of the valley, on the road to Gippsland. This warmer pocket delivers a Chardonnay with a little more flesh and generosity compared to other Mac Forbes sites, yet it retains a refined edge.

Compared to the broader region, this wine still sits on the finer side of the Chardonnay spectrum, but in Mac Forbes terms it is golden, ripe, and brimming with delicious primary fruit.

Tasting Notes

Pale gold in the glass, with aromas of ripe citrus, yellow peach, and subtle florals, underpinned by gentle oak spice. The palate shows a touch more weight and texture than cooler sub-regions, yet finishes with hallmark Yarra Valley precision and freshness.
