About This Wine

Suave and cheeky in 2022, this underappreciated Italian white variety delivers a beautifully textural style with layers of flavour and charm. The grapes underwent 6–8 hours of skin contact before fermentation and maturation in old oak barrels, allowing for subtle complexity and richness.

Tasting Notes

Bright green in the glass, the wine opens with a ripe, inviting nose of yellow apple, stone fruit, citrus, and a hint of fresh ginger. The palate is smooth and textural up front, balanced by the hallmark Mac Forbes acidity and gentle phenolics, resulting in a refreshing, well-balanced finish.
