100% fermented and matured in concrete, this Pinot Noir is pure, lively, and just a little mischievous—like revisiting childhood afternoons spent playing downball or hopscotch in the schoolyard. The EB (Experimental Batch) series is Mac Forbes’ creative playground for pushing boundaries in viticulture and winemaking, and this bottling captures vineyard vitality in every sip.

Vintage Conditions:

The 2019 season was dry and warm with below-average spring rainfall, resulting in restrained vine growth. February brought a welcome two-week cool period, refreshing the vines and preserving fruit balance. The result is a wine with wonderful structure, fresh acidity, and balanced fruit expression.
