Tasting Notes

Deep red-purple in colour, this Clare Valley Shiraz opens with a rich nose of blackberry, ripe plum, bramble, and blue fruits, lifted by spicy and savoury accents. Hints of dried herbs, tar, and subtle smoky oak layer in complexity. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with dark fruit and spice framed by fine-grained tannins. A classic regional wine—well-balanced, elegant, and avoiding over-oak or over-extraction—culminating in a long, structured, and satisfying finish.

Winemaking

Includes a small percentage of whole-bunch fermentation for added aromatic lift and textural nuance. Oak usage is restrained to support, not overpower, the fruit profile.
