Tasting Notes

A quintessential Barossa Shiraz, this wine opens with dark liqueur chocolate and the region’s hallmark black and pink pepper. The bouquet beautifully fuses winemaking aromatics (cinnamon, musk, sandalwood, tobacco) with vineyard notes of aniseed, fennel, tar, rose, and plum.

The palate is velvet-textured, with supple richness underpinned by fine tannins in the background, lending structure without intruding on the ripe fruit. Layers of savoury plum, white chocolate, eucalyptus, raspberry, blackberry, olive, and pepper unfurl into a long, bright, and sustained finish. Despite its concentration, the wine retains an elegant freshness.
