Single-vineyard fruit, hand-harvested and hand-sorted. 100% destemmed, basket-pressed, and transferred directly to French oak barrels (predominantly 3–4 years old). Bottled in 2018.

Tasting Notes

Deep, vibrant ruby-red with a violet hue. Aromas of mulberry, agave, and boudin noir mingle with ripe dark cherry and plum. The palate delivers intense dried black fruits contrasted by menthol, ironstone, and savoury, meaty nuances. Firm, fine-grained tannins carry the wine to a long finish, where green pepper spice and a subtle warmth from alcohol add complexity.

Style & Pairing

A rich, textural expression of Zinfandel that pairs beautifully with barbecue, spicy dishes, smoked cheeses, and tangy flavours. Drinking well now, with the structure to age gracefully.
