Winemaking

Planted in 2006 on dark grey silt and sandy loam over sandstone.
Fruit was hand-picked, destemmed, and fermented with selected yeast.
Macerated for 10 days on skins.
After pressing, the wine was racked to large format French oak (old barrels) for 10 months of maturation.

手摘みで収穫、除梗、自然発酵、フレンチオークの古樽で23か月間 熟成。非常に良い色調ですが、100%クリアーではない。とてもアロ マティックで香り高く、ライトからミディアムボディ。チェリーヤ プラムの果実味、蜘蛛の糸のようなタンニンがフィニッシュに感じ られ、オークの印象はない

Tasting Notes

Aromatically expressive with excellent color (though not 100% clear).
The wine is light to medium-bodied, showing cherry and plum fruit, with a fine, web-like tannin texture on the finish.
No overt oak character — fresh and lifted.
